A PEEK INTO 2024

Welcoming new orphans from Chikun LGA, Kaduna State, to Kauna Home

At Kauna Home, the compassionate care and nurturing environment provided to orphans and children affected by ethnic killings exemplify the profound kindness and love extended to these vulnerable individuals. Within the Home, children are not only provided with basic needs but also receive emotional support and guidance to navigate through their grief and trauma. Despite the tragic circumstances surrounding their arrival, the children at Kauna Home are thriving. They are receiving excellent care, evident in their progress in school and overall well-being. With the support of caregivers and the camaraderie of their peers, new arrivals swiftly acclimate to their new environment, aided by the warmth and encouragement of older children. However, the pain of losing parents is still palpable for some of the children, and signs of grief are occasionally observed. Yet, amidst their sorrow, there is solace found in the comforting presence of the Lord, providing a source of strength and res...
