Kids Are Back To Learning!

 


Back to school time was filled with mixed emotions partly due to the covid-19 pandemic and the situation of violent crisis that also plagued the state but also the opportunity to reunite with friend’s colleagues and classmates was something they all were looking forward to. Though kids will be happy to see their friends and to make new ones, they will also be sad to wave goodbye to those long, fun-filled days. For first-time students, the first day of school can be especially nerve-wracking, considering they have never been away from their families before.

We try to make this transition as easy as possible and fun for everyone with some inspired ‘welcome and back to school’ ideas to get the children excited for the new school year.

By the grace of God we are making sure that  all the children’s supplies; books, uniforms and essentials are provided for well in advance of the first day of school. A good number of mattresses have also been procured to provide enough sleeping room for more students. As we not only provide education and feeding for these kids, Kauna Home is providing shelter and a place to call home.

An inspired way to get the children excited about school is by providing a nicer playground for them to enjoy at their free time and to basically feel like kids again.  We make sure to include after-school activities that are very beneficial to their mental health and stability. To top it off, we create well-coordinated and flexible class schedule that provides the best and comfortable learning for the kids. This way we are able to make the most impact in their lives.

  The year 2023 ended so fast and seems to be moving faster in the new year 2024. Bege for Gobe has nevertheless hit the ground running as the Spirit of the Lord is directing. WIDOWS ANNUAL CONFERENCE GANA ROPP 2023

  The Bege for Gobe annual widows' conference took place from 1st to 5th August, 2023. The theme was  My Beloved and His Vineyard ( Isaiah 6: 1-5 ). The purpose was to help the widows know and to learn that God has invested a lot in their lives and they need to respond to His love. It was a conference full of the word and prayers. About 400 widows from Plateau, Benue and Kaduna States were in in attendance.   OPENING CEREMONY The opening ceremony was a one-day event on the 3rd day of conference, 3rd August, 2023. The aim was to create awareness, introduce the Foundation and to solicit for support in any form for the growth of the Foundation from our guests.   It was a grand occasion where we had guests from church and society in attendance. Welcoming new orphans from Chikun LGA, Kaduna State, to Kauna Home

  At Kauna Home, the compassionate care and nurturing environment provided to orphans and children affected by ethnic killings exemplify the profound kindness and love extended to these vulnerable individuals. Within the Home, children are not only provided with basic needs but also receive emotional support and guidance to navigate through their grief and trauma.
